To which countries do you ship?
I ship to every country that has a postal service. If you live in the Netherlands, you should go to the Dutch webshop to place an order.

How much will it cost to ship to my country?
If you put something in you shopping cart, you can immediately see what it costs to ship that particular product. Since this webshop is for international orders only, I've chosen to have one shipping rate for all countries, depending on the weight of the products ordered.
Please be aware that all international orders may be subject to additional duties, import taxes, or customs fees upon delivery.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Your order will ship within 5 business days from the date of purchase/payment. After I've shipped your package, you will recieve a notification via email. It will take an additional 2-6 business days to receive your package when in Europe and 3-9 business days anywhere outside of Europe. Please note that I can not guarantee that your package will reach you within the given days, because unfortunately, I have no influence on postal strikes or delays in customs.

What are the payment options?
You can pay via PayPal or credit card. I use Paypal for credit card payments, too. Even if you don't have a PayPal account, you can still pay via credit card by clicking the 'No PayPal account?' button.

Why can't I see the description and price of the item I'm about to purchase while paying with PayPal?
Unfortunately, I'm not able to include a description and price yet, but I'm working on it. In the meantime, I apologise for the inconvenience and I assure you that the amount you're paying is the total amount shown in your shopping cart, right before you continued to PayPal. After you've paid, you receive an email with the payment information from both PayPal and me.

Can I return an order?
Of course you can. I truly hope you'll like what I've sent you, but if not, that's okay too. Please contact me via e-mail before returning anything and return the product within seven days after delivery. All returns must be unworn and in original condition. Shipping fees are nonrefundable. You are responsible for return shipping charges. After receiving the return package, I'll refund you via PayPal. Please note that I can not be held responsible for damaged packages due to mishandling by the postal service.

Is your jewelry nickel free?
All Damsel of Dainty jewelry is always 100% nickel free.

I only tolerate real silver earwires. Can you make the earrings with real silver earwires?
I can make all the earrings with real silver earwires, for a surcharge of $1,65. In that case, place your order but don't pay just yet. Let me know via email that you want real silver earrings, and I'll send you an updated paypal invoice. Keep in mind that if the earrings originally have copper- or bronze-colored earwires, the silver earwires will change the look of the earrings slightly.

How do you measure the length of your jewelry?

Necklaces are measured unlocked, from one part of the lock to the other, without the additional chain and always the longest length if the necklace has several layers.
Bracelets are measured unlocked, from one part of the lock to the other, without the additional chain.
Earrings are measured from the top of the ear wire to the lowest point.

Can I order something in a different size?
I'm almost always able to make bracelets in a different size. Just measure your wrist with a tape measure, tight but not too tight, and email me the size.
I do not make necklaces and earrings in different sizes, because that would alter the design too much. If you have a very special request, you can always email me, so I can take your request into consideration.

How can I take care of my jewelry?
- Don't wear it while you sleep.
- Make sure it doesn't get wet.
- Keep it free of cosmetics, hair spray, perfume and perspiration.
- Handle with care!
